Tuoqi Wu, PhD
Assistant Professor
Department of Immunology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Dallas, USA

Brief Bio:

Dr. Tuoqi Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Immunology, member of the Simmons Cancer Center, and investigator of the O’Donnell Brain Institute at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He received his BS degree from Peking University in 2007. He completed his PhD research at Emory University in 2013 studying the regulation of T cell memory by microRNAs under the supervision of Dr. Rafi Ahmed. Following his PhD, Dr. Wu conducted postdoctoral research in T cell stemness and exhaustion under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Schwartzberg at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Wu started his lab in 2019 and is currently focused on understanding how chronic infection, cancer, and natural aging impairs T cell immunity and how to reinvigorate T cell immunity through targeting key transcriptional and cytokine pathways.

Oral Presentation at Cytokines 2024 in Seoul, Korea:
