ICIS Student/Postdoc Member Travel & Abstract Awards and ICIS Trainee Awards
ICIS Student/Postdoc Travel Awards (or Abstract Awards for Virtual Presenters)
ICIS Student/Postdoc Member presenters at the Cytokines & ILC 2022 Joint Hybrid Meeting are eligible to apply for travel awards to cover part of their travel expenses, or abstract awards to cover the virtual registration fees for those participating virtually. Application is through the online abstract submission form. These awards are provided through a generous grant from the Milstein Family as well as ICIS member donors and are based on the scientific merit of the abstract as well as need based. For presenters who choose to participate virtually, the Award will consist of a complimentary virtual registration to the meeting (Abstract Award). For those traveling to the meeting, the awards will be a travel stipend meant to help cover a portion of the travel expenses, registration will not be waived.
ICIS Trainee Awards for Most Promising Research Presentations at the Cytokines Annual Meeting
ICIS Student/Postdoc members submitting abstracts are also eligible for ICIS Trainee Awards. Up to four (4) trainees with the highest scoring abstracts as per the scientific review committee, will be awarded $1,250 each and will be invited to give an oral presentation or lightning talk at Cytokines 2022 Hybrid Meeting, recognized as a Trainee Awards Presentation, in the most appropriate session based on topic. The ICIS Trainee Awards are a recognition award and do not include travel or registration fees.
Please renew or join the ICIS prior to the 1 May Abstract and Application Deadline.
Applications are ranked based on scientific excellence, abstract rankin, Travel Award funds are allocated based on distance of travel and available funding.
Application process:
• The application is submitted through the questionnaire on the Online Abstract website.
• Deadline to submit is the same as the abstract submission deadline, 1 May 2022.
• ICIS Student/Postdoc membership must be current to be eligible for these awards. Student/Postdoc membership is $60 for three years and also includes discounted registration fees.
Qualifying Student/Postdoc members applying for an ICIS Student/Postdoc Member Travel / Abstract Award will also be considered for an ICIS Trainee Award, but will not be awarded more than one award in a given year.
