ICIS Governing Documents

The ICIS governing documents include it’s Constitution, Bylaws, and Policies of the International Cytokine & Interferon Society.

Amendments to the Bylaws

Amendments shall be proposed by a majority of the Council, or by a petition to the Council signed by at least ten percent of all Members in good standing.

Proposed amendments must be approved by a two-thirds majority of the Council, discussed at a Business Meeting of the Society, and ratified in a mail (regular or electronic) ballot by a two-thirds majority of those Members of the Society casting votes.

July 2024:  Proposal to Amend the Bylaws

The Council has approved an amendment to change the number and responsibilities of some Standing Committees enumerated in the bylaws to better fit the current needs of the society.  The amendments were proposed to the Council in March 2024, reviewed and approved in June. They are not placed before the membership for ratification.

Members are eligible to vote on the proposal on the Leadership Ballot that will be emailed on Monday, July 1, 2024.  All votes must be submitted by 11:30 p.m. PDT on July 31, 2024 to be counted.
