The International Cytokines & Interferon Society (ICIS) thrives on the invaluable contributions of individuals who generously devote their time and expertise to the Society. As we look to the future, we invite you, our members, to consider stepping into leadership roles that will drive the field of cytokine and interferon research to new heights.

Six Opportunities to Shape Our Future

This year, six (6) pivotal positions are available, each offering a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of our society:

Secretary (an Officer of the Corporation) (two-year term beginning October 2024)
Two (2) Council Members (three-year terms beginning January 2025)
One (1) Council Member for Inclusion and Training (two-year term beginning January 2025)
Two (2) Nominations Committee Members (three-year terms beginning January 2025)

The Ideal Candidate

We are in search of individuals who not only harbor a deep passion for the ICIS mission but are also actively engaged in the Society’s endeavors. The ideal candidate is well-connected within the global community of cytokine and interferon research, demonstrating a commitment to advancing our collective knowledge in these vital fields. Successful volunteer leaders, in addition to their professional accomplishments, exhibit a genuine openness to listen and learn from others.
