Mini-bio: Kondwani @kjambo is an Associate Professor in Immunology and Infection at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine but based at the Malawi-Liverpool-Wellcome Programme in Blantyre, Malawi. He is a recipient of the Wellcome Intermediate Fellowship (2015) and the MRC African Research Leader Award (2020). His research interest lies in mucosal and tissue immunology, focusing on the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract, in the context of infectious diseases relevant to low-middle-income settings.
