Congratulations to the (4) trainees with the highest scoring abstracts  as per the scientific review committee! Each will be awarded $1,250 each and will be invited to give an Oral or Best Poster presentation at Cytokines 2021 Hybrid Meeting, recognized as a PfizerTrainee Presentation, in the most appropriate session based on topic.

The Pfizer Trainee Award Winners will also be invited to participate in a Pfizer symposium (physically at Pfizer Headquarters if possible AND via the ICIS virtual meeting platform on-demand within one year of the Annual Meeting), to showcase their award winning work. The symposium will also feature a networking event to introduce the award winners to associated research groups within Pfizer and expose the trainees to potential collaborations and career opportunities in industry.

These awards are sponsored by Pfizer in recognition of the next generation of cytokine & interferon researchers!

ICIS-Milstein Travel / Abstract Awards

The ICIS-Milstein Travel Awards may be applied for by poster and oral abstract submitters. Each year the the ICIS Awards Committee has chosen the top ranking 65 – 80 abstract presenters to receive Travel Awards to cover part of their travel & registration expenses. These awards are sponsored by generous gift from the Milstein Family–Seymour Milstein (July 21, 1920 – October 2, 2001). Milstein’s son Philip has generously continued to support this award for the twenty (20) years following the passing of his father. This year additional funding has been provided by the Vilcek Foundation.

ICIS members who attend the Annual Meeting of the ICIS and submit a meeting abstract are eligible for ICIS-Milstein Travel Awards. Please note that there are no age restrictions to this award. However, if both senior and junior members from the same laboratory apply for an award, preference is given to the junior member.
