Postdoctoral researcher

Elsa_SanchezL University of California San Diego

We seek an enthusiastic and outstanding postdoctoral researcher to join the Sanchez-Lopez Lab at University of California San Diego. Our group investigates how metabolism and signal transduction influences immune cell function. We use a combination of molecular and biochemical techniques, functional assays, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and immunoassays in cultured cells, mouse models, and human samples.

We are seeking an independent, passionate, and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with strong previous research experience in innate immunity, inflammation, or bacterial infection. Our research goals will focus on crosstalk between metabolic adaptation and signal transduction in activated immune cells during both joint inflammation (osteoarthritis) and bacteria biofilm formation.
