Cytokines 2015 – Symphonies in Health and Disease

Welcome to Cytokines 2015 - Symphonies in Health and Disease

Third Annual Meeting of the
International Cytokine & Interferon Society (ICIS)

October 11 – 14, 2015, Bamberg, Germany

Dear Participants,

The Cytokines 2015 Meeting was held in Bamberg, Germany, October 11-14, 2015.

The Third Annual Meeting of the International Cytokine and Interferon Society provided an outstanding forum for investigators in basic science and clinical research to present their most recent findings on the role of cytokines in infectious diseases, inflammation, cancer, autoimmunity and novel therapeutic interventions. Scientific sessions include cutting edge basic and clinical presentations in plenary and concurrent symposia, as well as eminent keynote lectures, and are supported by up-to-date poster sessions. The Meeting also provided strong networking opportunities for scientists in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. The broad attendance and blend of senior scientists and physicians, as well as graduate students and post-doctoral fellows from around the world ensured a vibrant and exciting conference for all.

As in previous years, the meeting again provided a great opportunity for all members of the interferon and cytokine community to engage with speakers and presenters in an interactive and stimulating environment and to establish or renew scientific contacts and friendships.

Sincerely,

Prof. Dr. Peter Stäheli                                                      Prof. Dr. Otto Haller
